A life update with a little bit of IndyCar

Oh man guys, I've been a terrible blogger the past 2 months, I'm sorry.

I went from not have the desire to write to now not having the time to write.

But lookey here, I'm finally writing!

So since I haven't written in forever I want to just give a quick life update and then get into a bit of IndyCar stuff at the end, I mean the season finale is right around the corner y'all!

So the past month has been crazy busy. Three weeks ago I moved, so for the weeks leading up to moving I was packing and cleaning in every spare moment.

Then I was essentially homeless for five days before I could move into my new apartment so I went home to my parents house and essentially lived out of my car and slept in my sisters room.

While I was home we got a puppy!

Here name is Mia and she is the absolute cutest thing you will ever see.

Anyways, moving into my new apartment was a disaster. The person moving out wasn't moved out until 10:45 PM the day I was moving in and I started school the next morning.

Yeah, it was great.

The first week of school was great. I mean it was all professional development and meetings, but I got to meet all of the schools staff and I love my co teacher and out entire kindergarten team.

What I didn't love was getting a flat tire that week.

Oh the joy of waiting for roadside assistance for over an hour when you just want to go home.

So that was added to that weeks craziness along with having to switch cars with my brother and get my tire fixed.

And then the next week school really started, students and all. I loved every minute of it, but when I got home I was ready for bed.

That moves onto this week, where I get to spend the entire week away from my students taking on campus methods courses.

Oh the joy of being a grad student, sitting in class for eight hours with only a break for lunch.

I've been ready for the week to be over since Monday.

But I'm over halfway through now, which is good.

Okay, so thats enough about me; lets talk IndyCar.

I am so pumpled, but also so sad that the season is ending on Sunday.

I can't believe we're already at the end, it seams like St. Pete was just a couple weeks ago.

So many amazing things have happened this season, which will probably be a topic for a whole other blog.

Anyways, I am always pumped to see how the championship fight works out.

I mean this year we have a better chance at guessing who's going to win then we did last year.

I was listening to the week in IndyCar episode of the Marshall Pruett Podcast today on my way to class and I was made aware that for Rossi to win the championship if he won the race Dixon would have to finish lower then 9th.

And how many times has Scott Dixon finished lower then 9th?

I can only think of one time off the top of my head and that would be Indy last year when he decided to go flying instead of racing.

So as much as I'd love to see Rossi win his first championship (I'm a sucker for anyone's first time of winning anything), I think it's going to be Dixon.

And I really don't think Dixon needs to win another championship (I mean the guy has four already, he needs to share), it would be pretty cool if he won five so that he could really cement his legacy as an IndyCar GOAT.

And if I'm being 100% honest I've pretty much let go of my hopes that Josef Newgarden will win the championship.

I mean it still could happen, it being double points and such anything can happen. But he's going up against Rossi who has been almost flawless this season (sorry Rossi, but I'm still not over Detroit race 2) and Scott Dixon who actually is the most flawless human being on this planet. And if you don't believe me just go back and watch the Portland race. I mean the guy escaped a lap one incident and was at the back of the pack and still managed to finish 5th. I mean there's a lot more to what happened at Portland, but I'm still a little salty so we're not going to talk about it.

But yeah, I'm super excited for Portland.

Also, I'm am so freaking excited to see Pato O'Ward and Colton Herta make their IndyCar debuts this weekend. It's gonna be sweet.

Just overall the IndyCar finale at Sonoma is going to awesome.

I'll see y'all next time when he have crowned a IndyCar champion.
